Letter to the Editor
Whilst I understand that an election for Queensland does not need to take place until mid June, I really would like to view policies (plans) from all parties concerned. I ask parties in the name of public consultation to make websites containing their policies available.
The public have a right to know in advance, the policies of all parties, from the government we would like to know how they plan on bettering services to the public and paying down debt, from the Opposition parties we would sincerely like to know your policies on public Health, Education, Employment, and Environment etc. We understand there may be some cuts, we would like to know what you intend to cut, when and where.
It is an increasingly educated electorate that you face these days, firm, clear and concise polices need to be aired well before the day of the election to give the electorate a chance to compare policies against other parties to decide upon which party for which to vote, and which party to allocate our preferences to if we wish to do so. The absence of policy from all parties seems to suggest that they are all hiding something from us.
