I note that the compliance of much

Letter to the Editor

I note that the compliance of much of the media to Tony Abbott’s Trojan Horse approach this year because they are ideologically opposed to the ALP and does not give the population the balanced reporting that is required of the media. Elections should be a contest of ideas.

Abbott has gone from mongrel dog to Mr. Nice Man who still at this late stage is unwilling or unable to expose his policies. That the media does not question this man on policy, and question him hard is not allowing the public to have a balanced choice come Election Day.

It is not good enough for the public to like the Gonski reforms or the N.D.I.S. because they are Labor policies that will be dropped faster than a hot potato if the Opposition Leader is allowed to Trojan Horse his way into The Lodge without explaining what he would do if he were elected to office.

We had 12 years of LNP leadership from Howard that ended only 6 short years ago. I am for seeing where the Gillard plans would take us with education and disability reform, the LNP are not interested in such human exploits, for them money rocks their world, they are in effect the rich person’s slaves. They care naught about us ordinary Australians who struggle through life; to them we are collateral damage.

Think hard this election, do you want improved education for your children and/or grandchildren, do you want care to be provided for your ageing Aunt who suffers with depression, it’s up to you. I hope you will choose to vote for humanity instead of rich people.
