Letter to the Editor
My greatest fear is that an incoming Abbott government without policies will cause our economy to falter into recession. I follow politics closely especially on health and education issues and it seems that in education the LNP are harking back to the Colombo plan of the 1950s. Surely in this 21st century we need to be progressing, not being frightened by progress that is being offered such as NBN, school upgrades and education progress to keep us at the forefront of the Asian century. Do the conservatives think that Asia will stand still and wait for us to catch up? If they do I have bad news for them and any of Australia’s population who votes for them.
In a decade we will be asking why are we doing so poorly in the world, why is unemployment so high, and why is our economy lagging behind the rest of the world, the answer will be we saved some money by electing an LNP government in 2013, after only 6 years of Labor government, we switched back to out-dated methods and philosophies. Good luck Australia, I really hope you don’t follow the greatest trick the devil ever played on Australians by convincing the workers to vote for the rich.
